Meet Dr. Kristie
Dr. Kristie was born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Growing up, she has always loved animals and has always seen herself in the veterinary field. Dr. Kristie received her associate in general biology diploma in 2015 and graduated as a registered veterinary technician in 2018. She graduated as a veterinarian from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts and Nevis in 2023. Throughout her extensive veterinary experience since 2010, she has worked in various hospitals in British Columbia, Canada from general practice to emergency to non-profit organisations while simultaneously attending school. Her responsibilities were of a head technician to manager to now veterinarian.
Missing the Caribbean weather, she decided to move here to California after connecting with an old colleague (Dr. Kestelman). Her interest is in internal medicine, emergency, diagnostic imaging, and soft-tissue surgery.
When Dr. Kristie is not at work, which is rare, you will find her hiking in nature or at home with Mia, her Karelian Bear Dog, baking pastries, and playing table top games with friends.
